Quirk: Infestation - The user houses arthropods within their body, millions at a time. The insects can be called upon whenever to exit the body through wherever she wishes. They only obey the user, and due to the overstimulation to the user's nervous system, the user will lose their sensation of pain so long as the quirk is active. The arthropods can also be used to stitch wounds closed autonomously via different breeds of arthropods.

Airi was born to the villainous mother known only as The Insect Queen and a quirkless father. During Airi's birth, due to her mother's physiology she died from giving birth to a human sized child. Leaving Airi with her father until the age of five, when she developed her quirk. When she felt everything crawling within her, Airi attempted to flay her skin with a kitchen knife to try to rid herself of the feeling of crawling and biting inside of her. But the insects would stitch anything she cut, they wouldn't let her die. When her father found Airi drenched in her own blood, with things crawling inside and out of her, he was appalled, disgusted, and horrified by what he had helped create.

The following day Airi had been sold to the Yakuza Experimental Facility in the underground. Airi was then subjected to inhumane treatment, left starved for days, cut open time and time again just so they could see the extent of her quirk. With a family who abandoned her and living in her own personal hell for years, a guard had left her room unlocked on accident. Taking her one chance for freedom, she made her way out through the only place out of sight.....the vents. After an exhausting crawl, Airi eventually made her way out but she was still left with nowhere to go.

She remained homeless, being ridiculed by those who saw her a freak and refused food till she was driven to stealing from people. Airi had eventually found her way outside the gates of U.A. . Her curiosity had gotten the best of her and she snuck her way passed the gates till she was spotted by Hound Dog. Being arrested on spot, Airi sat inside a cell again for another week before an arrangement was made for her to attend U.A. as a chance to be a "useful member of society" rather than homeless.

Airi passed the entrance exam with 37 points gathered without so much a hero seeing her in the arena.

Now she's in 2-B, wish her luck.
